As our next Giant Week in the Stars arrives bearing promise and potential, it is as important as ever not to gallop ahead of ourselves. Feeling into the distinct entelechy of the eclipse sequence is how we harness its magic, aligning ourselves to its torrent and too its tiny shards.
Eclipse season is a marathon not a sprint. This time around it brings in a sign change and a retrograde. We move carefully towards Thursday's epic mindful of all we must navigate - and prepare for - on a personal path to our first collective eclipsing this year.
The lashing tail end of Aries is no place to trifle, though it cultivates risk and unbridled recklessness. Our incoming eclipse on its anaretic degree could already be conjuring drastic binaries that lack middle ground. War or peace? Stay or go? Leap or lose out? Dig into nuance and understand that some actions, no matter how impulsive or instinctive, can never be undone.
Mercury is just a winged hop from his own stationing point in the little bull's realm and early retrograde snafu is already abounding. If you have a failsafe protocol that ensures data, best laid plans and finances, set it to stun. In cahoots with Lady Eclipsia, this particular Mercing will offer constant resetting of our fixed understandings and a wild whirling through what we think we know for sure. Fluidity is the only antidote to fixed or fucked thinking.
And though the urgency may press and the wildness may raise our own tides and tempers, the dark moon is prelude to the flaring lot. Holding herself - and us - to rest and rumination before the blaze of it all. Offering secret insight only found in stillness, her cauldron is a scrying pool all of its own. This particular dark moon done right could change the entire trajectory of this wild season of change, if you will give it your time and energy. Down tools, tidings and anything else you can as very best prep for the wild ride incoming. We're playing for keeps.
