Persephone Podcast at Eclipsia
Another long lovely chat with Michelle on her Persephone Program podcast on the quality of the current time, the Eclipse Portal, working with the elements, Shadow Dancing, Crafting a Witch-craft practice, Northern and Southern Hemisphere Astrology and so much more!
Interview : Perseus Arcane Academy
This weekend tells a tale of two cities, distinct in form and function, beholden only to their sphere of influence. You probably already know which is having its way with you and all in your sightlines by the stark difference in experience.
Channelling Merc’s Rx
Welcome one and all to the circus that Mercury retrograde has become in our terribly modern culture that has lost its way. The one that appropriates pop astrology for its own ends while slavishly disregarding the deeper meaning of transit and planet, the greater cosmic choreography and the alignment required to maximise its mighty force.
A Very Venusian Birthday
Today, on this particularly magical day in my world, Venus rose with the sun. A phenomenon which, like so many others that regularly pepper our lives, we shall not see again in our lifetime. Not until 2117 will Lady Love streak across the face of her sun king trailing stars in her wake.
Aries Initiation Sequence
This wide ranging conversation explored the initiation sequence now ignited by the Aries equinox and new moon that pulls us further into the Age of Aquarius. We mused on the soul's calling gaining momentum in each of us, the world and its evolution, epoch changes and trauma, listening to the call of the god/desses and our modern hunger for an embodied enlivened spirituality. Jumping between intuition, shadow, stars, magic, ritual and so much more.
Ladywriter
Meet my Nanna, darklings. This is the inimitable Nancy and today would have been her 109th birthday. An ultra Aries journalist, shrewd operator and my very first Bohemian role model, a reporter and then a publican at The Australian Hotel where my Mum ran up and down the stairs as a kid. The stories of her heyday are legendary.
Introducing my Book Baby, Morsel
Because this is my birth-ing day, it seems entirely perfect to announce the arrival of my very first book baby.
Morsel, a collection of poems and tales, is due for release when the stars align in just a few short weeks!
Support Salon
After every storm, the sun also rises. When our world is in crisis or we feel under siege, the very best thing we can do is offer support. The rolling disasters of these strange days are pushing us to a revolution of consciousness. We are required to save ourselves and care for others as well as the corner of the earth we call home. With this in mind I have flung open the doors to the Bohomofo Support Salon on Patreon.
More Than Sink or Swim
You don't have to do it alone, darklings. Just ask Stell and that big smile, the one borne of patient encouragement and unconditional belief. I know she can swim. I know you can too.
From The Garden
New year brings new readings, deeper shadow work and a whole bunch of new ways to work together. If you are looking for a sign, this is datura.
Interview : Pacific Roots Media (Sweden)
Pacific Roots Media interviews Kerrie Basha of Bohomofo. Kerrie’s writing moves me on a regular basis as it is deeply woven with practical advice, magical insight and writing that truly thrums my spirit.
The Ties That Bind
Today would have been my Nanna's 106th birthday. This ultra Aries woman was my first Bohemian role model and I can still see her cheeky wink and knowing smile. She lived well beyond the dictates of the time, raising her two girls in The Australian Hotel - one of our oldest pubs in The Rocks in Sydney - as a solo mum in the 1940's. It is her blood that leaps in my veins every time I defy convention or stand my ground.
Tipping Point Readings
Can you feel the three fates at play in your life? Past, present and future are always knitted together, a function of one another whose tendrils extend far beyond our myopia. But with the curtains yanked back and the veils thinning as we move towards this week's equinox and full moon, you can fairly hear the spindle and the rhythmic beat of its pedal as it spins the wheel.
Nursing The Lot
It is nearly three weeks since I made a snap decision that snapped me. The tail end of a ball tearer of an eclipse season for me as it ripped through my chart, my world, my life. It yanked me out of the trajectory I was on - several times - meticulously planned to take me far from where I am now.
