A Tale of Two Weekends

Art @kalmahul

This weekend tells a tale of two cities, distinct in form and function, beholden only to their sphere of influence. You probably already know which is having its way with you and all in your sightlines by the stark difference in experience.

The anaretic degree of Pisces is heaving with the weight of the future, pregnant with its wunderkind and contracting regularly now through wild transition. The North Node on the decks tweaking destiny and pulsing fresh frequencies while conjuring eclipse season our way. Joined by Neptune behind the bar at the end of the zodiac, slinging elixirs with a twist: choose poison or vision, you can no longer mix the two.

The vibe is surreal and thick with chaos agents, changelings and visioneers, dreamers and grifters mingling in the fringes as the dance floor heaves with a teeming screaming humanity. Nostalgia's doing shots with ghosts as nouveaux shamans spout nonsense in their emperor's new clothes. No one knows the big lights about to come on.

Meanwhile in another dimension Mars has had enough. At the station all weekend, glowering and counting these few days down until the pedal can hit the metal again. Sick of blowing off steam in Cancer, craving rocket fuel and fireworks, hands balling into fists at sides for far too long.

The exit point of Mars interminable months long retrograde is the slingshot pulled back by an unsteady hand, the fight that could easily break out, truth roaring out of the shadowy well. Fingers hover over sticky triggers, shadows claw for salting, the game is finally about to change. Blowing your load, showing your hand or being forced to act is to be bested by the wait.

Whether you're mainlining the acrid red or delulu blue pill - or perhaps another frequency entirely - remains a function of your greatest currency, weapon and point of power. Pay attention. Frame your worlds, old and new. Choose well, now. If you're still waiting for the clouds to part themselves it could cost you dearly.

Do not go with the flow. Be the flow.
