The first sunrise after the solstice is sacred, the sun still stretched to his limit and in morning after mode. The sky a riot of colour and cloud as we now tenderly navigate the vast Cancerian waterworld and retrograde whirlpools.
Ravens crowded the viewing platform before dawn, stretching their wings to soar and swoop across my field of vision, their throaty wake up calls confirming all the eclipse delivered yesterday.
As the sun blazed over the horizon, the sky gently opened to rain fresh blessings and strange light upon me. A full rainbow wrapped the westworld in its pride, reminding me that looking back offers more than just memory and distance.
This morning. This new moon day.
