Virgo Full Moon

It has been one hell of a ride since the last full moon, one whose stops included two staggering eclipses and Venus shifting gears. We near the equinox from now, nature's seasonal shifting point as we too observe all that has similarly shunted in our world over the last month.

This full moon peaks in the Virgoan realm of practical magic, a place of pragmatism and selfless service. She shines opposing her lover the sun still in dreamy Pisces, allowing us to marry clear thought and sight with our intuituve vision. Virgin energy is beholden only to itself (perfectly aligned with Venus' retreat to rise anew) and in its purest form is untainted by the projections of others. Use this full moon to focus squarely on what you are creating and thus what you simultaneously need to shed from the finely crafted plans you have made. Everything looks different now: take practical steps to adjust accordingly.

The full moon as an energetic crescendo can ever bring crisis or drama to a head. With Mercury and Chiron perched next to the sun in Pisces, be careful and concise in your communications. Beware the perfectionism of the over-Virgoed and try to keep criticism, judgement and blame to a minimum as she peaks in our life and skies.

This is *the* time to get grounded. Crystals out. Clothes off. Step out under moonbeams, your bare feet rooted to Mama Earth as your arms draw down the blessings of the virgin.

For ritual purposes, the bright lady peaks in Virgo early Monday morning at 1.54am Wollombi time. Rituals for grounding, protection and to enhance clear communication are well starred.
