Venus Swept Into Pisces
Art by Victor Nizovtsev
Venus swept into Pisces by the new moon's tides, its waters embracing the queen of stars like a lover returning. After her torrid Aquarian excursion with her lover Mars, Lady Love swans deeper into her pleasure state. Swollen with the magic of Neptune, rampant revolution cleaves to form fresh union with the fathomless psychospiritual currents that underpin it.
Venus in this liquid imaginarium is a dreamer and a visionary from a far more enchanted place. Intuition is superpower, seeing through the glamour of veneers and the clamour on the surface. Insight is more cardiac than brainiac, and heavy with compassion. The soul makes easy conversation as the past gives way to riveting experience and fresh sensation.
Mutability is ever the antidote to overthinking stuck paradigms. Matters of the heart cannot be thought through anyway. The only currency is feeling. Still truth slips unevenly over and under itself and schools of multiple choice dart around. The waters muddy then clear. These Venusian tides are shapeshifters in perpetual transformative motion. Hard to hold much less know, shifting orientation as we are drawn into eclipse season.
Venus claims values as pearls of wisdom. Internal alarms are warning signs. Don't give yourself away when the haze arrives with the pretty dawn. Soporific lures only ever catch reflected light. The easy pull of anaesthesia, the siren song of distraction or the liquid comfort of delusion draw the avoidant like bait. Grifters and liars profit when fear is high and trust is low.
Thrive instead on a diet of divination. Chew on the poetry in motion and dance with these liquid shadows. Let yourself be moved by the currents, fearless and free from the same old shackles whose leaden loving never saw your best float to the surface.
Barter breathlessly with the denizens of your deep for their potions and follow the old hag home to her cave beneath the sea. Swim the channel between your heart's yearning and the wilds of your dreams. Imagination gives you gills as often as it grants you wings.
