Taurus New Moon Incoming

…after today's magnificent hailing sunshower, Mama Nature showing us her force and her beauty all at once

Nearly there after a languid dark moon, we have been bathing under little bull moonbeams for a day or more now. Today's cauldron space was built on relinquishing the fixed or bullish elements of our nature, at play in our lives. Witness our stubbornness or resistance to change, as it holds us stuck in the mud. Address - or at least ruefully acknowledge - the dark corners of our lives where we stubbornly refuse to budge. Note our complacency and how it tethers us to procrastination or fantasy. Until the moon is new (at 10.16pm Wollombi time) there is still time to release.

We make way for the beauty of the moon new in Taurus, as we steady beneath her gaze. With four of our galaxy still covering old ground and retrograde magic thus afoot, now is not the perfect hour to call in our audacious new beginning. Rather this is the time to embody the gracious patience and endurance that is a Taurean hallmark.

Powerful though she may be, through proximity and force of will, this eve's new moon is a long player whose magic will carry us through the icy depths of Winter or the heady spiralling Summer. Let her enchantment plant you firmly in your life as it stands right now. Accept it without caveat or condition. Look about you and notice what you have, the foundations your little patch of this life is built on, the weight it already bears and the potential it holds for growth.
