This week's astroweather is a go slow, giving even the most radically change adept a chunk of days in which to catch thy breath.Last week's retrograde mania saw us hurtling into multiple shunt points as Saturn, then our Lady Venus and then Jupiter backed up to change direction. Each of these rx transits gift us a welcome pause with which to re-envision. Slowly and carefully now may we revise the structure of our lives (Saturn), our heartspace and values system (Venus), tend to our growing tip (Jupiter) and court our shadow (Pluto). No hurry darklings, transformation in slow mo as evolution seeps from the inside out.The sun's move into switch hitting Gemini on Wednesday sees a lift from the fixed | fucked dynamic of Toro season and into the shapeshifting mutability of the twins, expanding options and possibility. It heralds the start of our next eclipse season, to cement the endings and beginnings of this unprecedented year. This Gem of a season will deliver a fresh launching pad, all the better to reset our world on the brink darklings.2020 is a relentless mofo with no time to waste. And yet it has never been more important to allow long moments for digestion of our rebirthing world on fast forward. Taking pause to integrate and understand. Peering forwards and backwards to root us in the present. Understanding that this whole year is a work in progress and no feeling is final.Carving out a plausible new work / life balance is more than rearranging the old chess pieces post their scuttling. Moving through the world in a wholly different way requires careful consideration. The questions we now pose are existential. The power to effect change in our every day is exponential. From midweek we welcome the panacea of the dark moon, a further invitation to stop, drop and stay put. To sink deeply within and craft uncommon sense from the little bull's moon cycle, she who called us into our temples and begged us not to clamber back out.Progress is not the name of the game this week as languid days stretch out and motion is slowed to a snail's pace. All you need is what you can carry. Anything else can be left to the shimmering trail in your gentle wake.Words and image c. Kerrie Basha 2020
