Those skidding in late to the distancing game are only now telling everyone how to do what they could not. Control freaks worldwide are declining to submit to the loss of their grandest illusion. Refusal to accept the economic impact that accompanies such a giant pause button is a fresh hell.

I'm going early to this month's dark moon bolthole. My nervous system needs a fucking break from the hypervigilance of daily tallies and sweeping new measures enacted way too late and this climate of panic.

The storm is here darklings and the sirens are ringing out around the world. To your bunkers, they cry. Seek shelter and protect yourself from the marauding virus that threatens life as we know it.

The good ship 2020 has certainly run aground. Again. That's three times in as many months. First came January, which felt like a hundred years war.
