Jupiter Retrograde
Art from The Secret : A Treasure Hunt (1982) by John Jude Palencar
In the midst of all this square dancing we are being called to a quest, a treasure hunt larger and more vital than any we have undertaken before. Today Jupiter turns his face to the ground he has already claimed and begins his retrograde. He remains in his home state of Saggitaria throughout, his rx over the next four months taking him back to the point he was at last December. We too have the chance to retrace our steps over this hallowed ground.
Jupiter's enormous gift to us is opportunity and its expansion. He seeks to unearth our wisdom and craft the vision of our life. He beams with silver linings and a sorely needed optimism, the kind that cultivates possibility and maintains faith. In retrograde his focus - and ours in tandem - turns our seeking eyes within.
If the period since last year came crashing to a halt has been hard yards, you may now retrace those steps a little easier. We are on the search for treasure that was buried beneath the rubble and strife. The valuable jewels that we may have lost our grip on as the world about us quaked.
Our hands crave their holding and placing back inside our chest. This very Sagittarian quest seeks to retrieve the fragments of soul and self that may have been cracked off along the way and return to them to their rightful place.
Watch for the clues hidden in plain sight. Be guided by even the dark stars and the slivers of moonlight whose beams alter your landscape. Know that the crown jewels you lost are lying in wait, craving your return and wriggling to make themselves known once more.
Your life is an inside job that requires all your wiles and wit. Dream your way back to claim what is rightfully yours as Jupiter nods his sage approval.
The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure that you seek.
