Aries Anaretica

Art by Eva Gamayun

The lashing tail end of Aries has delivered a torrid few days, oddly spliced for maximum impact. The hard sharp edge of the usually sweet Libran full moon. Tales of crucifixion, liberation and resurrection wrapped in shiny foil and chocolate. The unbearable mash up of man's manifold attempts to craft sense of the ineffable over a four day bender. Dazed and confused, we emerge with a strange hangover that will linger long into the week.

The warp factor of the full moon was palpable. The heavy presence of both Saturn and Pluto, like a fist inside Libra's velvet peak, walked us right up to the leading edge of eclipsia. The undertow littered with what will be more fully unearthed during this next mad season as we dance the axis of life, death and rebirth.

In its glowy aftermath, Merc crashed into Urania in Taurus reminding us of the incongruous change that will arrive soon enough. Venus softened the impact, blowing kisses from Pisces. Wake up calls and strange bolts conspired to ensure a ripple in our thinking and a wave generated through fleshy resistance. The body writes the score and conducts its crackling stories into mind maps, not the other way around. Posture tells the tale no matter how you frame it. Values cannot be disguised for favours anymore.

Anaretic degree of Aries, thy name is urgency. Beware impulsive leaps without any net and a heightened sense of now or never, make or break. The Sun squaring Pluto shortens fuses and flails live wires, conjuring shadows from the depths. This combo smackdown courts breakthrough but it may be a bumpy ride.

Soon enough we will sink into the elysian fields of Taurus. Heads will reattach to bodies and feet will land back on solid ground. Pulses will settle momentarily, long enough to brace for the maximum impact of eclipsia. Settle in wherever and however you can.

Our rituals are same. The commonality of a sky—
The body is an instrument. A motley of sounds.
