Dark moon bolthole, anyone? You know by now darklings my penchant for the isolation and wonder of the dark moon. And its blessed bliss is now upon us in the midst of madness, mayhem and a solid first week Mercing.
This isn't necessarily a sense maker, because that's not the nature of the dark moon in Aquaria. But a quiet rogue and revealer it may be. This weekend holds oddities in languid corners and invites you to sit still, watching the smoke rings slowly spiral and change their shape. It is a weird and wily cauldron space to peer into that will reward you with its tangents, left field bolts and dark matter... provided you don't try to lock them away.
Enact your dark moon drill, carve out space and time to muse and turn the world off. It will still be frantically there drumming its fingers on your return. Get some rest. Sleep and dream. Stare at the sky. Watch and wait and wonder. You don't get to mainline this kind of magic every day.
There are portals and passages where you least expect them as Neptune and Mercury make eyes at the future. Time is rushing and standing still for long moments. This is the fertile space between, the soil around the seed that nourishes its emergence.
Soon, but not yet.
Over and way out, darklings. Catch yourself on the flipside.
The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed.
