Everything Is Going To Be Okay

With the ripples in the matrix coming at us in slow mo still this week, it is easy to get despondent at the yawning pace of things. Here we be now busy going nowhere fast, desperately exhausted by the manic rate of recent change and still nursing the lifequakes that are the calling card of Lady Eclipse. But shape our lives we must, no matter the pace of the potter's wheel. In this uneven space, our no becomes just as important as our yes. Winking possibility is best greeted from a clear grounded space whose borders are known and whose boundaries are firm and fair. Boundaries need not preclude visitors from other places. They don't have to drown out the music. Nor should they stop the breeze rustling the curtains or our messy hair.Rather they afford us our safe spaces. The precious places in which we can tend our heart and dreams alike. From them we can curate precisely what we want hanging from our walls, singing from our kitchen and growing in our garden.Boundaries are a function of respect, for our sweet self first and then for the many others we encounter in our worlds. Boundaries demonstrate our stance and are an important pillar of our personal power. Built on knowledge and observation, the deepest bow we can make is their accordance.Saying yes to your life can often involve a giant hell no to anything that besmirches its sanctity, disregards its value or mishandles its care. And that no is more than okay to speak loudly, darklings, even if your voice tremors or others struggle to understand one of our smallest and mightiest words.Post the sign on the gate and tuck the key into your pocket. Feel the embrace of your borders as you still wave to those on the other side of them when they pass by. Turn your ardent attention to what lies within them and let your focus rest there. It is the things you say no to that really show your commitment to your growth.~ Yung PuebloSay no to anything - or anyone - that does not respect you. Your life will be better for it. If you're looking for a sign, results are posted on the fence.Nothing is lost. Everything is transformed.~ The Neverending StoryWords © Kerrie Basha, 2018
