Wake up Maggie

Today's utterly enchanted reading location, found by accident, tarot on a blanket by the harbour with the figs and the she-oaks, mad maggies and a blazing Aquarian sun. I do so love mid eclipse readings. We are so raw and thus they are so powerful, replete with beginnings and endings and shadows and light.Today as I was reading, I was reminded of my favourite creation story. The tale that explains it all.Once upon a time, after the gods had created the earth and the seas, all the pretty creatures that scampered and slithered and flew, the wind and the rain, the sun and the moon, they came to their triumphant finale. From their own images they crafted human beings. They tucked divinity inside us, knowing it would be the last place we would look for it. And just for a chuckle, to unseal our fate, they gave us free will.

*sigh*Know this: always but especially during eclipsia. What you need to know will be at your fingertips but if you don't reach out, it will remain tantalisingly out of your grasp. What others do is part of your story but they are the best supporting actors in your major motion picture, neatly placed to galvanise your action. Your story is not about them or because of them. Play your part. Learn your lines. Do the work or you will get re-placed.What is meant to be will be gifted to you, but it will not stay if you do not care for it or if you toss it away. You cannot hide behind fate or rest in your destiny. You must take your free will and use it wisely. This is what makes each and all of us divine.Words and pics c. Kerrie Basha, 2018
