Not Before Times Up

Life changing moments don't happen every day. We long for them and pray for them. Sometimes we don't recognise them until hindsight kicks in and we can see clearly just how much and how far we were moved. We end up with a colourful clutch of them, having been gifted their unique medicine even if we choked as we took it.We are smack bang in the eye of a world changing moment. In it right now, boobs deep. One that is tipping the scales irrevocably, shifting values and priorities, attitudes and outcomes for so many: the definition of true social change.

In times past it took generations for new ideas to be presented, then for new beliefs to be accepted and for both to become common practice. That process, like everything else in our thoroughly modern world, is now in fast perpetual motion. Who needs decades when you have the interwebs, modern media and the most pervasive communication tool of all time - for better and for worse - that is social media.Tonight's Golden Globes was more than the usual eye rolling melange of privilege, male power and all the pretty fillies as some kind of industry jewellery. The power has shifted and you can taste it. The divine feminine isn't just rising. She is roaring through women united not divided, whose compassion is inclusive and healing. Women draped and dazzling in black, grace personified as one they called time on the sordid, the profane and the simply unfair. Done.The world just got schooled in the staggering power of sisterhood. Here we bloody go. I cannot wipe the smile off my face (or the tears). Oh how the goddess is dancing tonight!"So I want all the girls watching here, now, to know that a new day is on the horizon!
