The Gemini Supermoon

As though a giant perigree moon isn't enough of an attention getter, the Gemini 'supermoon' (a term that should rightly be accompanied by trumpets) is sharing the stage with a crowded cosmic choreography. I am finding it very hard to concentrate as this deliciously skittish energy gilds the edges of everything.Even before Lady Luna's peak casts her blazing gaze, our landscape is changing massively under our feet. It is disconcerting, to say the least and still in flux. So many of our major players have shifted signs and directions all at once. Mercury's retrograde is timed to coincide with this changeling lune and brings the magical redirection of thinking required to make sense of the cycles now ending. Venus is no longer mired in the Scorpion's underworld and emerges radiant from her shadow in Sagg. Saturn's assignment here now completing, he sets his sights on the mountains of Capricornia. Just the other day Uranus and Mars ran at each other at speed in order to effect further collision changes in state, bless their ludicrous idea of an opening act.Neptune's surrealist haze over the entire play serves to make us feel both crowded and cloudy. Perhaps the shaman's way of pushing us to make the very best use of Gemini's spectacular ability to switch gears at lightspeed, mainlining change on the fly and adjusting thy course accordingly. They are the zodiac's supreme switch hitters, a superpower we can all take notes on tonight.As the last full as a plate moon of this year, she fairly begs us to let her take from us all that has claimed space it did not deserve in our head and hearts. That most valuable real estate is required for far more important things as we each recognise the role we have to play in changing our world.
