Astro : Sun into Sagg

The sun king has just blazed into Sagittarius and lo, the season of fire begins. Scorpio's tumult may well have stripped us bare, just as time in the shadowlands is supposed to do, but here comes the lift. Welcome, antidote to our malaise, ridiculously pleased to see you.Now we feel the galvanising pull of fire, high Summer in my corner of the world and the end of the year suddenly around the next corner. This is one of the changes each year so deeply woven into my body that I cannot adequately explain it, except that it smacks of some of my favourite imperatives. Freedom. Adventure. Truth. Boldness.The flames soon licking at our heels burn and leap with the promise of a reality we have written down somewhere inside, that hasn't quite arrived yet. We had to get braver, realer, more honest with ourselves and our world. Job done Scorpio, the most crazily effective month most years I reckon. We may not love the methodology but the outcome is spectacular. Yes, those flaming wings are yours and yes, you bloody well earned them.Now may we each begin to take aim at our new year, see just how far how our targets have shifted and allow the requisite candour and heat seeking wonder of the Saggilands to elevate us to a fresh level of authenticity. One that apologises less and tells it like it is. One whose aim is straight and true.We get given a month to inhabit the optimistic centaur as we gallop to our imaginary finish line. A month to draw back our bow towards targets calling to us from where we'd rather be. A month to seriously work on our aim. A month to live as though we always have our passport and a suitcase packed, ready to go, raring for the next discovery and the grand adventure that will accompany it.Fire always blazes a trail.
