The Wisdom of Autocorrect

Not one for too much technology unless absolutely necessary, I never cease to be amazed / horrified at how smart our devices are getting at mainlining us. They learn our syntax and habits, preferences and hidden tics with a disturbing accuracy. I have begun to feel my autocorrect leaping next level and now here she is, perfectly channelling this week. And what a strange beast we are facing, as we build to peak lunacy.Uncle Pluto is stirring the pot, faster and faster, dragging us into an unavoidable whirlpool bent on pulling us into the places we don't want to go, or be, or face. Because Pluto isn't scared of the dark and knows even Pollyanna and Atticus had to face their shadows to fully inhabit their light.Mars is the fire leaping beneath the cauldron, amping the contents to boiling point and hankering for a peak or an explosion or something that will blow the top off. Make sure you are moving and doing or his fire will burn your bridges down. Get shit done instead.Above it all the North Node, hand on heart in Leo, knows full well that this is all part of the long player that is our life. How else to get where you are going, to inhabit every bit of yourself, to know the very limit of your everything? Your choices are as crucial as ever. And there the Sagg moon waxing brightly, already fixing her blazing gaze on us, peering through us to the truth. The whole truth, even the bits we are doubtless yet to see and most definitely the parts we would prefer not to see.I think that's where the bleating rounds off autocorrect's scarily accurate take on the varied blessings on offer. She knows that I hold fast to the idea that necessary change doesn't happen without sandpaper and gristle and very real discomfort. That is not to say we can't do it another way - or that we haven't already been given many chances to shift of our own accord. We just often don't because we get too good at deferring or ignoring it, a dubious post modern superpower. The imperative holds our evolution always possible. And I think my autocorrect does too, bless her, the product of a benevolent multiverse. You can't always get what you wantno you can't always get what you wantbut if you try sometimesyou just might findyou get what you need~ St Mick© Kerrie Basha, 2017
