Astro Update: When Overwhelm Is Your Dance Partner

It seems only moments ago we were bleating about our cosmos in retrograde, berating the pause button and hankering for things to get moving. Venus leapt forwards first with fresh eyes and a new approach to love, art and life itself. Mercury masterfully leapfrogged us from where we once were to the strange new lands we find ourselves now, much revealed through the backwards forwards unjumbling of our key communicators.Enter Mars and his galvanising mayhem, artfully channelled as fuel to stoke our new flickering. Uranus has been striking like lightning, setting new fires all about us as Neptune offers a woozy surrealist slant on our latest dreams, the tendrils of which are just beginning to take a shape we think we may like. Uncle Pluto is rubbing his hands gleefully together as his chaos theory truly takes hold, forcibly shunting us into our brave new worlds. Throw in a tectonic shift in our trajectory as the North Node stalks into Leo and stir vigorously with the Scorpio full moon.I dont know about you my lovelies but overwhelm is my most frequent dance partner this past week.The change we have courted and cosied up to is here, always before we think we are ready to make the leap. And so we find ourselves in a place unbecoming, where stasis can seem preferable to the alternatives: a future we feel unprepared to fully embrace just yet and a past we couldn't squeeze ourselves back into even if we wanted to.All we can do is narrow our eyes and wait, watching for any shimmering clue drifting in our direction. In truth the guidance we seek is littered all about us right now. Tethering yourself to one way - what you once knew to be true - will limit your evoutionary capacity and painfully stunt your growth.
