When Mars Attacks

Mars at play and shifting signs this weekend means there is agitation afoot. Our cosmic firecracker is on the move - from Gemini into Cancer by the close of play - and so he must pass through the anaretic or final degree of the sign he departs. This rattling gate is quite the magnifier and lies at the end of each sign. It always ponies up a crashing revision of What We Have Learned (or not) in the paddock we now depart.This point can feel hectic and hurried as we unconsciously feel the imperative of the shift and our benevolent universe throws final spears to check that we got it. When Mars attacks, the carnage can be brutal. Beware the travelling circuses about you on this testing day. If the monkeys are not yours, for the love of Chris Cornell leave them alone.

Fittingly enough it is here too that Mars finds himself squaring off with Chiron, once again pinging the deep old stuff that will continue to raise its festering head until we choose to balm the wound. All the band-aids and bullshit in the world, our finger pointing rejection of our big bad buttons, our flying monkeys en masse can only painfully retard the healing and resolution our hummingbird hearts crave.We need to be braver than our flimsy defence mechanisms and more courageous than we think we can be. We must stick firmly to the promises we made through tear stained cheeks the last time and the one before that. It is you who needs to fly, my pretty: above the din and dissent to a warm soft place within where you may gently continue stitching yourself back together.
